This meeting will be Africa-centric, with a focus on changes and new directions in Malaria research. A particular highlight of the symposium will be a panel discussion where the Malaria in Macha (MIAM) site in rural Zambia will be used as a model site to demonstrate what can be learnt from a rural setting.
