I spoke recently at a malaria conference at Ben Gurion University in the Negev (of Israel). While there I had the privilege of working with various people to construct a medical education program so that we could help educate villagers at the malaria free zones we establish in the basics of medicine. The goal of the medical education program is to provide health care education at a level that would enable each village to take care of itself for all basic health requirements. Each graduate of this three month course will be required to pass a board exam which will be adminitserd by an internaltional medical scholl program. We are trying to figure out the basics of such a course and would welcome any and all insight.
