Senator Sam Brownback (R - Kansas) took the final shot of Dunk Malaria I last week in his Washington, DC, office.  Also pictured are Lance Laifer of Hedge Funds vs. Malaria and American University professor George Ayittey, president of the  Free Africa Foundation.

Senator Brownback, who has made a number of humanitarian visits to Africa, including to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Kenya in December 2005, said he was especially struck by the mounting death toll from malaria on the continent.

 This event brings to a close our hugely successful Dunk Malaria event for 2006.  We look forward to next year and hope you will continue to fight malaria along with us in 2007.
